Tragic in Italy: 14-year-old Albanian girl jumps from window, dies in hospital

A 14-year-old Albanian girl has tragically lost her life in Italy, after allegedly jumping from the third-floor window of the apartment where she lived with her family. The serious incident occurred yesterday in the town of Massafra, in the province of Taranto.

According to Italian media, the minor was rushed to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Taranto, still showing signs of life. However, despite the doctors' efforts, she was unable to survive her injuries and died a few minutes after arriving at the hospital.

The girl's mother was also in the apartment at the time of the incident, and told Italian authorities that she saw her daughter jump out the window for no apparent reason and was unable to intervene.
" She jumped on her own, we don't know why, " she told investigators.

The 14-year-old was a student at a local school and, according to media sources, had not previously shown signs of distress or problems that could have foreshadowed such an extreme act.

The tragedy has shocked the local community and especially the Bozhanaj family, originally from the Duchy of Vlora, who had lived in Italy for years.

The prosecutor's office has ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, while the investigations are being led by prosecutor Mariano Buccoliero and taken over by the Massafra carabinieri.

Meanwhile, authorities have also seized the girl's cell phone, in the hope that any message, note or signal may help in fully unraveling this tragic event.
