Refused asylum in Italy, 15 migrants sent to Gjadri camp

Another Guardia Costiera ship arrived today at around 17:00 at the port of Shëngjin, bringing on board 15 migrants who were refused asylum in Italy.

The migrants are part of a repatriation agreement between Albanian and Italian authorities.

After the ship docked at the port, the migrants were taken into custody by security structures and will be transported to the Gjadri camp.

This is the second contingent of migrants returned from Italy. About three weeks ago, 40 migrants arrived at the same port, of whom 16 have already left the camp and, according to official sources, have been repatriated to their countries of origin.
