Rama invents national manhood test: Whoever votes for number 5 is no longer a

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in another episode of his electoral campaign where irony, arrogance and class division become one, returns to the public stage with a "manhood test" for the people of Dibra: whoever doesn't feel like a "chyryk" - vote for number 5!

In his speech in Dibër on May 2, Rama decided to raise another standard for the May 11 elections, turning the democratic process into a competition for “certificates of wise men.” With a vocabulary that is more reminiscent of the jokes of a cabaret than the seriousness of a state leader, Rama declared:
I always have a good opinion of the friends I have as friends... Whoever does not feel the way I said, comes and votes for number 5 and has a certificate that he is wise.

In other words, if a citizen of Dibra does not vote as the Prime Minister tells him to, then he is left in the "swamp" - the place where Rama decides those who do not share the same political beliefs with him live.

In a strained attempt to confront the people with a “historic choice,” Rama described May 11 as the day when Albanians must decide: “Albania in Europe within this decade or Albania back in the hole.” A narrative that leaves little room for nuance, argument, or pluralism – you’re either with Rama, or you’re in the hole.
