DP Regional Coordinator for Tirana, Klevis Balliu, writes in a Facebook post that the new ring is a project to fill the government's pockets and not to help citizens.

Balliu stresses that the project has zero service for citizens and risks their lives, as pedestrians cannot pass. The project was spent 80 million euros for two kilometers.

"The new ring is a project to fill the pockets of the rulers, not to help the citizens! The new ring project has been denounced even before by the Democratic Party and with uncontested facts and evidence. Now that part of this project is closed, the results are clearly extinguished. The project has ZERO service for citizens, even endangering their lives as there is no way to cross the crossers, isolating thousands of inhabitants of the area in this form. And to think that for this project, nearly 80 million Euros have been spent for these two kilometers alone and in 80 million Euros there is no route for the switchers.
