The Democratic Party today officially appointed Christopher LaCivita, the chief strategist of Donald Trump's electoral campaign, as the campaign manager for the May 11 parliamentary elections in Albania. LaCivita has arrived at the party headquarters, where he will meet with Democratic leader Sali Berisha.

In a press conference, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, presented LaCivita as the main "architect" of the opposition's victory, emphasizing that the cooperation with the Trump team marks a historic moment for the Democratic Party and the future of Albania.

 " This is a great day not only for the DP and the opposition, but for Albania and its future. Chris LaCivita has been one of the architects of Donald Trump's most successful campaign, facing extraordinary challenges and a powerful propaganda against him. He is now on our side to guarantee victory on May 11, " Berisha declared.

During his speech, Christopher LaCivita said that the Albanian opposition is united to elect a prime minister who will work with the US and Donald Trump.

" The united opposition is here today because we want to elect a prime minister who is a true friend of the United States and who will work successfully with Donald Trump. The current prime minister is nothing more than a puppet of Soros. You cannot be his puppet and a friend of the United States at the same time. Only Berisha is an old and true friend of America, " LaCivita declared.

He also drew a parallel between Berisha and Trump, saying that both have faced persecution from their respective governments.

" Many in the US said that Trump could not win, but he did it despite the attacks of the Biden administration. The American people demanded more from the government, and the same situation is happening in Albania. These were the circumstances that brought us together and brought us here, because we know that Berisha can win, " LaCivita added.
