11 affected by brucellosis, the disease has passed from animals to humans

Brucellosis, in our country, has spread from animals to humans, where eleven cases have been counted so far, among them minor males, who seriously endanger health.

One of the reasons why this dangerous disease is spreading among people is the lack of brucellosis vaccine in cattle farms.

According to the National Vaccination Plan, drawn up by the experts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the animals should have been vaccinated at the beginning of spring, with the aim of preventing brucellosis infection from animals to humans.

But how dangerous is brucellosis?

"Brucellosis is transmitted to humans through foods such as dairy and meat. This disease appears in different forms, from excessive sweating to bone problems such as arthritis or vertebral disc," said Gent Stroni, infectious disease doctor.

The brucellosis vaccine must be applied now immediately, in addition to endangering the lives of animals, endangering public health and farmers.
