864 new cases and four victims, as shown by the balance of Covid-19 during the last 24 hours

During the last 24 hours in our country have resulted 864 new cases with Covid-19 out of 4334 tests, while four patients have lost their lives.

"4334 tests were performed, of which 864 citizens tested positive for COVID19," the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

The Ministry of Health has appealed to citizens to be vaccinated in order to avoid high-level hospitalizations and fatal cases.

302 cases in Tirana, 84 in Durrës, 65 in Shkodra, 38 in Fier, 30 in Berat, 29 in Vlora, 27 in Elbasan, 22 in Lushnje, 21 in Kamza, 16 in Korça, out of 15 cases in Saranda, Lezha, 14 in Pogradec, 13 in Kruja, from 11 cases in Kavaja, Gjirokastra, 10 in Dimal, from 9 cases in Peqin, Vau i Dejës, Kukës, Has, from 8 cases in Gramsh, Vora, Patos, from 7 cases in Kurbin, Mallakastër , 6 in Devoll, from 5 cases in Divjakë, Roskovec, from 4 cases in Rrogozhinë, Dibër, Delvinë, from 3 cases in Prrenjas, Kolonjë, Maliq, Memaliaj, Bulqizë, Malësi e Madhe, from 2 cases in Fushë Arrëz, Mirditë, Shijak, Himara, Këlcyrë, Tepelena, Skrapar, Cerrik, from 1 case in Librazhd, Kuçovë, Libohovë, Tropojë, Puka.

There are 12,766 active COVID19 patients nationwide.

Currently at COVID Hospitals 175 patients are receiving treatment, of which 15 are in more serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours 4 citizens have not won the battle with COVID19: a citizen from Tirana 65 years old, a citizen from Kolonja 65 years old, a citizen from Shkodra 78 years old and a citizen from Fier 82 years old.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.

679 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 141,717 since the beginning of the epidemic.
