The court has left behind bars Aleksandër Krashi, the 24-year-old driver of the concrete mixer that collided with the Benz in which the 4 young people were traveling, who lost their lives after the vehicle burst into flames, causing them to burn inside.

The Black Platoons sentenced Aleksandër Krrashi to "indefinite imprisonment." His cousin Valentin Krrashi was also sentenced to prison for the criminal offense of aiding and abetting the perpetrator of the crime, after he removed the 24-year-old from the scene.

The Tirana Court sentenced the 24-year-old to prison, accepting the prosecution's request that accuses him of three criminal offenses: violating traffic rules, driving a vehicle in an irregular manner, and leaving the scene of an accident.

According to the material referred to by the traffic police, the driver was not equipped with the relevant driving license, while before the fatal collision he had stopped in the roadway, but had not turned on the traffic light.

The prosecutor in the case also stated that the concrete plant did not have the relevant documentation.

Enejdi Laçi and the three passengers in his vehicle, Erildi Laçi, 20 years old, Enrikejd Kurti, 24 years old, and Andi Laçi, 22 years old, lost their lives in the accident.
