Two brothers have been arrested by the police of Mallakastra, after giving false testimony to hide the incident.

According to the police, the brothers were wounded with a knife by a 76-year-old man, but they stated to the police that they had a conflict with each other.

Their 76-year-old neighbor was taken to the police. The event is suspected to have happened due to weak motives.

"The services of the Mallakastër Police Station immediately after receiving the notification that 2 citizens were presented at the Ballshit hospital for treatment, injured with a cutting tool (knife), went and contacted the injured citizens.

The Police Services have accompanied citizens EP, 28 years old, and JP, 26 years old (brothers), both residents of Ballsh, to the Mallakastër Police Station, to give a statement on the incident. The two brothers have stated that they had a conflict with each other while hiding the incident.

As a result of the investigations carried out, it was found that these citizens were injured with a cutting tool (knife), for weak motives, by the AB citizen, 76 years old, resident in Ballsh, (their neighbor).

At the end of the investigations, the citizens EP, 28 years old, and JP, 26 years old, were arrested for the criminal offense of "False statement before the judicial police officer", and the citizen AB, 76 years old, for the criminal offense "Deliberate murder", and remained in the attempt" , informs the police.
