A 23-year-old man in Fier has been arrested after injuring his father with a gun.
The 58-year-old was injured in the leg and is in hospital where he has received treatment and is out of danger.
"The services of the Fier Police Commissariat, around midnight, were immediately notified that a citizen had injured his father, in their apartment, in the village of Mbrostar Ura, they organized the work and went to the scene, with the aim of capturing the perpetrator.
As a result of quick police action, citizen JZ, 23, was arrested and handcuffed. He is suspected of having injured his father, citizen NZ, 58, in the leg with a weapon modified as a sporting weapon, after a conflict with him.
"The 58-year-old is currently under the care of doctors and out of danger to his life. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further action ," the police announced.
