"What are they counting?", Beleri - Celibashit: You're not

MEP Fredi Beleri has leveled accusations against Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi, asking him to speed up the vote counting process.

Beleri made the comments during an interview on the show 'Off the Record' on A2 CNN, where he said that in all major countries in the world, votes are counted for 1 and a half days, while in Albania, 1 and a half million votes are being counted for more than a week.

" These problems, European countries have been solving for at least 200 years. I told you at the beginning of our conversation."

What are they still counting? We have 7 days, in an hour it will be Sunday. What are they counting, one and a half million votes, what is that Celibashi doing, has he no shame? What are they counting? In India they do it in a day and a half, in China in one day. What are they counting? There are billions of votes. Which European country, which country that says we are Europe, counts them in a week?

Rallies, demonstrations, are a process until election day. When elections are held, protests can no longer be held, but other ways must be found.

"And the ways are to show that the opposition is not there to preserve its seats, but to be ready to sacrifice everything to convince citizens that this is not the right path for Albania to take to the EU," Beleri said, among other things.
