Tensions at the DP protest, journalist explains: I had no intention of inciting

Euronews Albania journalist Besarda Demushi has reacted after SPAK launched investigations against two MPs, Edi Paloka and Klevis Balliu, following tensions at the DP protest.

Demushi, through a reaction on Facebook, clarified that the purpose of her denunciation was not to launch investigations against the Democrats, but the tension that was caused by the protest called on May 16 by the DP.

Demushi explains that Balliu went to calm the situation.

"During a moment of tension in the recent protest, I reacted publicly and denounced two MPs in a tense and emotionally intense state, not only for me, but I believe for every journalist who was there."

As a journalist, aware of the weight of public speech, I feel obliged to clarify that I did not intend to instigate any investigation.

This is not a retreat, but an honest reflection to defend the values I represent: professionalism, objectivity, and responsibility.

Mistakes happen. It's important to acknowledge them and correct them with dignity.

"I also want to clarify that I have no claims against Klevis Balliu, who came at that moment to calm the situation ," the journalist writes.
