The Israeli Air Force is carrying out airstrikes on the port of Salif in the Hodeidah region on Yemen's western coast, the Masirah TV network controlled by Yemen's Houthi rebels reported.
The Israeli military on Wednesday ordered the evacuation of three ports in Yemen controlled by Houthi rebels, following ballistic missile and drone attacks on Israel by the Iran-backed Yemeni group.
In retaliation for Houthi missile and drone attacks, the Israeli air force has carried out numerous strikes in recent months against the rebel group's targets in Yemen, bringing down Sanaa's airport and bombing power plants and cement factories on May 6.
The ports in question are Ras Issa, Hodeidah and Salif, which are located in the Hodeidah region in the war-torn western part of Yemen, where the Houthis control large areas.
