The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, began her speech at the summit of the European Political Community with a congratulatory message to Edi Rama for his victory in the May 11 parliamentary elections.

But what attracted attention was that she considered the re-election of the Albanian Prime Minister "completely unexpected".

It seems that even his own "sister", as Rama servilely calls her, did not believe in his victory in the elections.

"I would like to congratulate Edin on his completely unexpected re-election as head of the Albanian government. I am pleased that Europe will be able to rely on his perseverance and determination," Meloni said in her speech.
