Opposition protest, Këlliçi: Rama will not enjoy the stolen mandate

The political leader of the Democratic Party of Albania in the Tirana Region, Belind Këlliçi, spoke at the opposition protest held after the May 11 elections in the New Boulevard area.

Speaking in a live broadcast on News24, he said that Prime Minister Rama will not enjoy the stolen mandate and that the Democratic Party has evidence that the May 11 elections were rigged.

"Rama will not enjoy the stolen mandate. The Democratic Party has evidence of election manipulation. We will stand in solidarity with any Albanian for the theft of the elections on May 11. This is a problem of Albanians and I can say that electoral institutions and free elections have died here," he said.

Këlliçi further added that the Democratic Party will not retreat as it is a life or death battle and that the head of government has his hands deep in the winning results in the May 11 elections.

"We will not retreat from this battle because it is a life or death battle. Rama dipped his hands so deep that he got that result ," concluded Këlliçi.
