Boçi from the protest: The fate of Albanians does not depend on summits,

The political leader of the Democratic Party in the Shkodra region, Luciano Boçi, has explained why the opposition decided to protest on the day when internationals arrived in Tirana for the European Political Community Summit.

" We are here for the fate of Albanians and fates do not come only from showy summits, but the fates of Albanians are decided by the free vote and when this is killed, the voice must be raised so that they (the international community) understand it well and not contemplate the antics of that chief thief who kneels to anyone who comes in his way, just to ensure his power ," Boçi said on A2 CNN.

"In a summit scheduled directly after the elections, the internationals will do their calculations, but the truth is here. In the end, what has the summit brought us? Proposals to turn us into a prison for immigrants. Rama should not be left in power anymore as it is a big question mark for the country," Boçi added.

Asked how the opposition will remove Rama from power, Boçi replied: " We have defended the vote according to the law with our people, but we cannot go after those who buy votes. We defended the vote during its commission, but when the "Bulgarian train" is made at the nearby club, what is the commissioner to do? We have made our complaints and they have not yet been taken into consideration. We are not investigators or police, we are politicians who have done our duty with complaints, but the bodies serving Edi Rama have not taken the appropriate measures. After the result is out, they supposedly act."
