The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, arrived in Tirana this evening to participate in the Summit of the European Political Community, which will take place tomorrow in the capital.
Zelenskyy was received at Mother Teresa International Airport by the Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu. His visit to Albania comes after the stop in Turkey, where today he met with the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to discuss the progress of negotiations with Russia.
Zelenskyy's participation in the summit in Tirana is considered a development of particular importance, in the conditions when Ukraine continues to face Russian aggression and requires further political and diplomatic support from European countries.
