Vehicle runs off the road in Borsh, police officer dies, two others injured

A fatal accident occurred on the Borsh-Fterrë axis.

The Toyota vehicle left the road and ended up in a ditch. As a result, one police officer lost his life and two others were injured.

"Today, at around 12:00, on the Borsh-Fterrë road, the driver of a Toyota vehicle is suspected of losing control of the vehicle and as a result, it went off the road, ending up in a side ditch.

Three citizens were traveling in the vehicle, specifically RX, V. Th., and EM, around 47 years old (police officer), the latter died at the scene as a result of the injuries sustained.

The other two citizens have been taken to hospital, in serious condition.

"The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident, as well as determine the driver of the vehicle at the time of the incident," the police announced.
