Diaspora vote, counting of envelopes for 5 districts closes

The process of evaluating and counting votes from abroad is progressing at a steady pace.

So far, 130,037 ballots out of a total of 194,889 have been counted and evaluated, which accounts for 67% of the total votes cast from abroad.

The counting and evaluation of votes for five districts has been completed: Kukës, Berat, Lezhë, Gjirokastër and Tirana.

However, the process is not completely closed, as votes coming from Greece – a country with a large number of Albanian immigrants and a potential influence on the final results – have not yet been included.

The completion of this process is essential to guarantee the full representation of Albanians voting abroad.
