Car hits pedestrian to death in Kavaja

A fatal accident occurred on Thursday morning on the "Plepa-Kavajë" road axis.

A vehicle hit a pedestrian who was crossing the street. As a result, the 50-year-old woman died at the scene.

"Around 08:40, on the "Plepa-Kavajë" road axis, the vehicle driven by citizen SP hit citizen AM, 50 years old, a pedestrian, who lost her life at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further action.

"The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
