Anti-drug operation in Korça, two people in handcuffs

A large-scale anti-drug operation was conducted today in the city of Korça, leading to the arrest of two people and the arrest of several others.

Police sources indicate that the action began in the early hours of the morning and extended to several areas of the city, where it was suspected that criminal activity in the field of narcotics was being carried out.

During searches carried out in the homes and vehicles of the suspects, doses of narcotics, including cocaine, divided into small quantities ready for sale, were seized.

The operation continues to be ongoing and more arrests are expected, while those arrested are being questioned to document the entire network involved in drug trafficking and distribution in the city.

Korça Police has intensified anti-narcotics actions, as part of measures to increase security and combat illegal activities.
