Bushati: 'Electoral crime' and corruption in the country prevent Rama

Lawyer, Endlira Bushati, stressed that Edi Rama is lying when he says that Albania will enter the EU in 2030, as according to her, he has not yet opened the first chapter.

She said that corruption in the country and the electoral crime of May 11 prevent the Rama government from opening this chapter.

"These are in the wake of the only possibility that Rama knows how to do, which is show. All the media today, willingly or unwillingly, bought or not. It broadcasted a parade as if it were the OSCAR awards, which is really unnecessary. So who understands politics, the EU, domestic and foreign policy.

That very good activity that is being done in Albania, but the colors that Rama gives it are definitely in function, it is a 'one-man show', and especially 5 days after the elections which even in the ODHIR reports have very deep truths. Despite the fact that we know very well that the language of the reports is a little softer with the violations, and in any case it is never within the truth as we know the elections that have taken place within the republic, it is precisely this to soften the language a little that he thinks will come in relation to the election results. The EU does not care about us at all, who follows the foreign policy, the war in Ukraine, the EU defense, the defense report, the report with a new American president, like Trump who has put the limit on these. Thus, in this sense, all EU leaders see it as a form to solve their own problems with their certain internal issues. It is understood here that Edi Rama is unsparing in fulfilling any wish, as long as they tell him that democracy works here, the elections are good, and so on.

If we accept to be a warehouse or a garbage dump in the middle of Europe, let's tell the Albanians to know that we will return to a place where all the garbage in the metaphorical sense comes here and for this we have the power of Edi Rama as a cost. I do not think that we should accept it, and the Albanians should accept it. But of course this opens another topic on how it will proceed in the future, whether by the opposition or by other factors. Who knows the EU integration process well, there are chapters one after the other that are opened and closed. Forget what Edi Rama says, the fourth opens, the state opens and so on. There is no membership in the EU if the first chapter is not closed, and the first chapter is based on the construction of the democratic system, corruption and elections. What happened to the elections, with corruption and with the system of political order as a whole," said Bushati.
