Democratic Party MP Agron Gjekmarkaj received a special surprise today, on his 51st birthday, while he was at the Olympic Park to observe the process of counting diaspora votes.
His colleague in the Assembly, MP Elda Hoti, surprised Gjekmarkaj with a birthday cake, bringing a festive atmosphere to the premises where one of the most sensitive electoral processes is taking place.
The moment was accompanied by applause from those present, who wished Gjekmarkaj a happy birthday, while the MP was seen smiling and thanking his colleagues for the gesture.
Despite the engagement in the electoral process, this moment showed a more human and friendly side of politics, bringing a little joy amidst the tension of the vote count.
