Topalli accuses of massive manipulation of votes from the Greek diaspora

The DP's political leader for the diaspora, Jozefina Topalli, has harshly commented on the voting process of immigrants in Greece.

Topalli states that the results coming from the ballot boxes for districts such as Fier, Berat and Durrës indicate a recurring phenomenon, where the SP reaches up to 85-90% of the votes, a percentage that she calls unacceptable and impossible in a democratic country.

According to her, the process was uncontrolled and DHL contractors - who according to the agreement with the CEC should have been independent - were co-opted by the power structures in Greece.

Topalli raised suspicions that in cities like Athens, Thessaloniki and Crete, the distribution of envelopes was done by the ruling party itself, turning the final result into a farce that, according to her, suits North Korea more than a democratic country like Albania.

"This is the most flagrant case of violation of every norm and every standard of the voting process written in the Electoral Code.

As you can see, the results go up to 85% for the SP in Fier, they could go up to Berat, the same phenomenon is in all regions, Durrës, etc.

It is a process that, as we have said, is uncontrolled and DHL contractors, which is contrary to the agreement made between them and the CEC, have apparently been co-opted by the power structures in Greece.

We have understood this logically since days ago, and particularly in Athens, Thessaloniki and Crete, the ruling party has made the post.

Under these conditions, the process of receiving the envelopes was not done by DHL but by other people and the result we have today is far from realistic.

"The Socialist Party could win today, it could increase its votes, but with a 90% result, I personally believe that this could happen in North Korea in 2025, but due to the change in the system, it has also happened in our beloved Albania, and this is a defeat of the electoral process."
