Gunfire reportedly broke out in Nea Liosia, Greece. As yet unidentified individuals fired a volley of Kalashnikovs at an armored vehicle.
Media in Athens report that there were two perpetrators and they were traveling on a motorcycle, while only the driver was in the armored vehicle.
According to sources quoted by Greek media, a person known to the authorities was in the vehicle, who fortunately escaped.
It was reported that immediately after the attack, the driver notified the police, who described being chased by a motorcycle.
The police have launched investigations into the incident, while work is also underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
