Shkodra Police Destroy Over 1,500 Narcotic Plants

Shkoda Police have destroyed over 1,500 suspected narcotic plants, including 1,288 seedlings and 479 cannabis sativa plants.

The operation, focused on preventing and cracking down on attempts to cultivate narcotic plants, included intensive controls in the territory of the Shkodra district, where successful raids were carried out in the administrative units of Shllak and Pult.

Police announcement:

Shkodra District/The police operation codenamed "Coordination" continues, to prevent, identify and crack down on attempts to cultivate narcotic plants.

As a result of intensive controls throughout the territory of the Shkodra district, following the police operation codenamed "Coordinates", the services of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate and the police stations under its jurisdiction have found and destroyed 1,288 seedlings and 479 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants.

-The services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat found and destroyed 1011 seedlings and 479 cannabis plants in the territory of the Shllak administrative unit.

-The services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat found and destroyed 277 cannabis sativa narcotic seedlings in the territory of the Pult administrative unit.

Work continues to identify, capture, and bring to justice the perpetrators of these cultivation cases.

The anti-cannabis operation, codenamed "Coordinates", continues.
