Orthodox priest Kristaq Viso is being sent by helicopter to the Trauma Hospital, as his health condition requires more specialized treatment in the capital.
This morning, the Orthodox priest was helping another priest repair the roof of the Church of the Holy Trinity in the public cemetery of the city of Korça, when he suddenly fell from the height of the church to the ground, suffering serious bodily injuries.
According to doctors, the 62-year-old cleric suffered the most serious injuries to his head, which is why Korça doctors have decided to send him to the Trauma Hospital.
Priest Kristaq Viso serves as a clergyman at the church of Saint Thomas in the village of Çiflig.
