The Central Election Commission has announced that the process of counting and evaluating votes from the diaspora for candidates running on open lists in five regions of the country has officially been completed. These are the regions of Kukës, Shkodër, Dibër, Fier and Durrës.

In the Durrës district, according to preliminary data, Ani Dyrmishi leads with the highest number of preferential votes within the Socialist Party, followed by Arkend Balla. From the ranks of the Democratic Party, Arian Ndoja is the most voted.

In other districts where the process has been completed, in Fier, as previously reported, Ceno Klosi and Klevis Jahaj are among the most voted for by the SP, while the results in Kukës, Shkodër and Dibër are expected to be published in detail in the coming hours.

Meanwhile, the process of counting votes received from abroad for preferential voting of candidates on open lists is continuing in 7 other districts, specifically:

Elbasan
Vlora
Berat
Gjirokaster
Korca
