English King Charles has written to former US President Joe Biden after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, Buckingham Palace said, Skynews reports .
Charles, who is also being treated for cancer, hosted Biden for tea and chats in Windsor in July 2023.
In addition to the King, other politicians have also sent messages of support to Biden following his diagnosis with the disease. The 82-year-old, who is the oldest person to ever serve as US president, was described as a "fighter" with people wishing him a "speedy and full recovery".
Today, Biden reacted publicly through the social network "X", where he thanked people for their messages.
The King's private message comes after British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said he was "very sorry to hear" the news of Mr Biden's cancer diagnosis.
