MP Jorida Tabaku has secured the sole mandate for the DP-ASHM coalition in the Tirana district, through the open list system. In a reaction after the confirmation of the result, Tabaku expressed gratitude to her supporters, underlining that this race was not easy at all.

Through a post on social media, Tabaku appreciates the contribution of the Democrats who supported him during the campaign and expresses gratitude for their dedication.

"Endless thanks to everyone who voted for me, who supported me, and who was with me in this next challenge... You are the Democratic Party!" she writes, among other things.

However, she does not hide her disappointment at the failure to achieve political rotation, which she believes was essential for the country. Tabaku believes that the new electoral system has produced an often unfair internal competition, making it difficult to consolidate the opposition.

"Unfortunately, we were unable to bring about the political rotation so necessary for Albania, as this system also produced an often unfair internal competition," she emphasizes.

In the end, Tabaku congratulated his colleague Ilir Alimehmeti for his citizenship and the campaign conducted during this race, with whom he shared the "final sprint" for the mandate in Tirana.
