The political leader of the Democratic Party in Elbasan, Tomor Alizoti, has reacted regarding the results of the May 11 elections.

On social media, he thanked citizens who voted for the opposition, and accused the government of intimidation and vote buying.

According to him, the city of education is turning into the city of drug barons. 

"I want to thank from the bottom of my heart and humble myself to all those who believed and overcame the pressure, choosing the Democratic Party. Personally, I feel indebted to all the citizens of the Elbasan district. Both those democrats who did not get what they expected from the elections, but also those non-democrats who were treated like slaves by the gangs and officials of Elbasan.

Although the DP's responsibility for intimidation, violence, and buying is not direct, I still feel touched that the city of education is turning into the city of drug barons.
