Gjylameti questioned the vote count, Rama threatens him: I advise you not to go

Socialist leader Edi Rama has 'threatened' candidates who failed to receive their parliamentary mandate after requesting to review the vote counting footage.

It was Blerina Gjylameti, who failed to receive the mandate in the Tirana district, who also brought the Prime Minister's reaction.

A2 CNN writes that Rama has asked them not to follow this path and has ordered them to give up, but has reminded the socialists that they are a team. And these complaints, according to him, would further harm the losing candidate and all the people who have been counting for more than a week.

Rama's full message

"I have sadly received notice of several individual initiatives, to request filming, recounts and who knows what else for preferential voting!

Of course, I can't stop anyone from acting with their own head, but since we are still a team in this window – and I want us to stay that way – I would advise against going down that path. Because, first of all, losing a race shouldn't be a reason to lose face, when in fact there is no chance, zero, that with all those eyes on the screens, there will be vote deviations of a magnitude that would close the gap between anyone and those who have emerged as winners – not by 10 or 20, but by many more votes than the next in line.

Secondly, this means casting a shadow over our people, who have stood endlessly at the counting tables, and who do not deserve such a shadow of doubt for their great contribution.

And finally, imagine for yourself how bad anyone who will enter this path will feel, feeding the media entity, when in the end, the impregnated mountain may not even produce a mouse!", concludes Rama's message.
