Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani receives death threat

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has received a death threat through an e-mail with serious and offensive content. The news was confirmed by the media advisor to the Presidency, Bekim Kupina.

According to official sources, the threat came in electronic form and contains threatening language, which the authorities are treating seriously. The message addressed to Osman includes phrases such as: “With the two parties, we must now face the ordinary anti-constitutional criminal,” a phrase that contains direct threats and serious insults.

There are currently no additional details on the identity of the author or possible authors of this threatening message. Law enforcement and relevant security agencies are expected to launch investigations to clarify the origin of the e-mail and identify the persons responsible.
