"My first victory without my mother", Rama thanks the family and explains Zaho's absence

In his victory speech, Prime Minister Rama stopped at his mother who is no longer alive. Rama said that this is the first time he wins a battle without his mother present.

"This is my first victory in the absence of someone who has stood by me, followed me like a shadow with unconditional love and relentless care, someone I miss terribly today among you and who I hope is now seeing me there from up: My mother Aneta.

I wish her to be proud of me, and infinitely grateful to all of you who for so many years trusted me without wavering, followed me tirelessly, supported me relentlessly and today together with the vast majority of Albanians gave me the privilege again "It is extraordinary to lead you for another four years to the top where we will continue to climb," said Prime Minister Rama.

Rama publicly thanked his wife, Linda, who he said was the only opposition he could not defeat:

"Një falenderim të veçantë, për gjysmën time më të mirë dhe të vetmen opozitë që unë nuk e mund dot por kënaqem kur ka barazimin, Linda Ramën. Mamanë e palodhur të Zahos, nënë krenare të Reas dhe shoqen besnike të Gregut. Linda është guri që na mbledh, burimi që na ushqen dhe drita që na energjizon ne të katërve. Grua, shumë faleminderit."

Ndërsa u ndal tek Rea dhe Gregu, të cilët i falenderoi që nuk janë si fëmijët e tjerë të kryeministrave këtyre a gjetke, të llastuar dhe fodullë:

"Faleminderit edhe Reas dhe Gregut që nuk na shkaktoni asnjë dhimbje koke, që nuk keni asnjë lidhje me fodullekun dhe llastimin dhe që asnjëherë nuk i keni bezdisur apo nxehur njerëzit si disa fëmijë kryeministrash, lart e poshtë, këtu a gjetkë, me mënyrën tuaj të jetesës. Jam shumë krenarë për të dy ju dhe uroj t`ju bëj krenarë gjithnjë me punë time sot dhe me ndihmën e Zotit dhe me gjurmën time nesër."

Ndërsa "justifikoi" mungesën e Zahos, duke thënë që është mërzitur se nuk ka marrë asnjë votë pavarësisht fushatës që bëri në Vlorë:
