Police have provided additional information regarding the assassination attempt on 29-year-old Ermir Dedja in Durrës.

Officers state that they found a burned-out car near the village of Gërdec.

Also, a weapon was found inside the vehicle, suspected to have been used in the assassination.

Following the checks and investigative actions being carried out by the special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, in order to clarify the circumstances of the incident that occurred on 20.05.2025, at around 00:50, in neighborhood no. 18, where it is suspected that citizen ED, 29 years old, was killed with a firearm, the Durrës Police services, in cooperation with the Tirana Police services, have found in the village of Gërdec, a burned vehicle and a firearm inside it, which are suspected to have been used by the perpetrators of this incident.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its work to clarify the circumstances of the incident and secure any evidence that will lead to the identification and capture of the perpetrators.
