A 38-year-old man from Tirana was arrested after moving in the coastal area of ​​Borshi equipped with a firearm.

The police arrested and handcuffed the 38-year-old man, as well as seized a pistol and 2 combs with 30 cartridges in them.

The gun and cartridges were seized after a search in his "Honda" vehicle.

During the checks, in the bag of this citizen, the Police services found 1 "Sig Sauer" pistol firearm and 2 combs with about 30 cartridges in them, which were seized as material evidence.

The verifications showed that the BL citizen was carrying the gun in the vehicle, in excess of the authorization he had for keeping it only in the apartment.

Following the procedural actions for this case, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Himarë Police Station arrested in the act the citizen BL, 38 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora, for further actions.
