The request of the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri, addressed to the Constitutional Court to set a date for his trial as soon as possible.

" I appeal to you, who are the guardians of the Constitution, to listen to my prayer and that of the residents of Himara for setting a date as soon as possible for the judgment of my request, seeing that a long time has passed since 1 year that the central government has violated the right to elections in Himare", the request states, among other things.

Beler's request comes a few days after the President of the Constitutional Court said during a media conference that they had no request from the parties to speed up the process.
