"DailyMail" writes that 40% of immigrants who enter Britain illegally are from Albania, according to a secret military intelligence report.

A total of 1,075 Albanians crossed the Channel in gang-organized small boats over a six-week period this summer. Last year, a total of 757 Albanians crossed the Channel, according to government figures.

Albanian gangs are said to be buying large boats from Chinese factories and adapting them to carry more migrants on board.

Experts believe the crossings are being fueled by social media, where traffickers advertise their services on TikTok and demand up to £5,500 per person.

A further 288 people crossed the English Channel on Friday, bringing the total number of migrants arriving in the UK this week to 1,372.
