Albania with the most expensive price of oil in the region and in the world

Albania continues to remain among the countries with the most expensive oil price not only in the Western Balkans region, but in the whole world.

According to a Global Petrol Price ranking , until January 23, when the oil price had not yet been increased by the Transparency Board and was sold below 200 ALL/liter, Albania was ranked among the countries with the most expensive oil price.

The price of oil in Albania was calculated at 1,643 dollars/liter or 175 ALL/liter.

Compared to other countries in the region, after Albania comes Serbia with 1,621 dollars/liter or 172 allek/liter, Montenegro with 1,533 dollars/liter or 163.37 allek/liter; North Macedonia with 1,464 dollars/liter or 153 ALL/liter.

The lowest prices for gasoline in Albania were recorded for the last time in December when the Board set a price for diesel below 200 thousand ALL/liter, starting in March 2022.
