Arrested for trafficking 134 kg of cocaine stamped with the image of Pablo

Erjon Peti, who was arrested in April last year for international drug trafficking, is released. He was arrested along with Clyde Xibraku.

It was the Durrës Appellate Judge, Anita Mici, who accepted the request of Petit's lawyer, leaving her without any coercive measures.

Peti was arrested in April last year after a record amount of 143 kg of cocaine was seized divided into 120 packages in the Port of Durres. Meanwhile, the same legal path is expected to be followed by Clyde Xibraku.

How to get cocaine?

The cocaine was found in a container filled with bananas on behalf of the Albanian company 'Masabi Fruits' based in Kombinat of Tirana, on the ship 'Dance' that departed from Ecuador and arrived on Saturday in Durrës, as it is learned that its final destination was the Bar in Montenegro.

The cocaine packages had the photo of Pablo Escobar, the Colombian drug trafficker, as well as the notes "El mejor" (the best) and "Viejon" (the elderly) and were wrapped in natriban brown and black. 

Police then arrested in flagrante delicto two partners of the company 'Masabi Fruits' Clyde Xibraku and Erion Peti.
