The Tirana police have arrested a 42-year-old man for possession of weapons without a permit, after an operation coded "Gun", developed to crack down on criminal activity in the field of possession of weapons without a permit.

Within this operation, the services of Police Station No. 3 have exercised control in the residence of the citizen RH, 42 years old, on "Prince Vidi" street, following the information obtained operationally.

During the search, the police found and seized as material evidence an automatic firearm, a machine gun and military ammunition.

The arrest of RH was made in flagrante delicto, and the materials were passed to the Prosecution for further actions. The operation continues in the framework of efforts to prevent and attack the crime of illegal possession of weapons.
