The concrete mixer driver was left in prison indefinitely, in court: I tried to

Aleksandër Krrashi, the driver of the concrete mixer that was hit from behind by four young men in Fushe Prezë, appeared in court today.

He has been remanded in custody indefinitely, while he has given his testimony regarding the tragic event.

In his testimony, Krrashi said: "I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims. When the car hit me from behind, I immediately got out and tried to open the doors.

The car burst into flames and it was impossible to help him further. I contacted the company and asked them to bring a concrete mixer with water to put out the flames.

 I also informed my family and then went home.

"After changing my clothes, together with four of my family members, I went to the Kamza Police Station where I surrendered," he said before the judges.

Aleksandër Krrashi will remain in prison while the investigation into the serious accident continues.
