The death of 2 Ukrainian girls in Tirana, Karamuço: They were in a

Two Ukrainian women were found dead in an apartment in Tirana. Foreign nationals aged 25 and 40 are suspected to have died from an overdose of drugs containing narcotic substances.

Criminalistics expert, Ervin Karamuço, in an interview on ABC News, analyzed this serious event, while saying that it is suspected that these girls are involved in a prostitution network.

However, it will be necessary for this issue to be fully clarified and all information to be gathered to shed light on the death of two citizens from Ukraine.

"There are people who come from the war with great psychological traumas and who want to overcome them with narcotics to calm down. They don't manage to find it and then they start with sedatives. To come up with a more accurate answer, we have to wait for the toxicological analysis to say who is the cause of death. Did they intend to engage in prostitution, this is a matter that will take very little time from the investigations because all the information will be gathered. We must remember that we had a prostitution base in Durrës, another in Tirana, and recently we have a house where two girls lost their lives. However, the State Police should speak about this event. We have said that with the increase in the number of tourists in Albania, they also come to have contact with sex workers. A market has grown and entered from Latin America but also from the countries of origin, where girls become part of the prostitution network", said, among others, the expert of Criminalistics, Ervin Karamuço.
