The police have handcuffed two English citizens, who came to Albania as tourists, during the tourist season they distributed narcotics.

The blue uniforms have announced that a third person, an English citizen, has also been announced as wanted. During the physical check, about 50 doses of cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy were found on these citizens.

Sums of money, suspected to have benefited from this criminal activity, were also seized, namely 3,260,000 lek, 12,110 euros and 2,060 pounds.

Police notification: 

The Section of Illegal Traffic and Narcotics in DVP Vlora, in cooperation with the services of the Himar Police Station, following successive operations with a focus on preventing, identifying and cracking down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, based on the information provided by the intelligence informative that some foreign citizens who had been coming for several days as tourists in the coastal area of ​​Dhërmi, carried out the criminal activity of distributing hard drugs, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Parts 3", as a result of which they were arrested English citizens in flagrante delicto:
- SR, 27 years old and RD, 33 years old.

Also, their accomplice, English citizen WK, 32 years old, was declared wanted.

During the physical check, the police services found on the 2 arrested citizens about 50 doses of cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy narcotics, which were seized as material evidence, along with 3 mobile devices and 2 electronic scales.
Sums of money, suspected to have benefited from this criminal activity, were also seized, namely 3,260,000 lek, 12,110 euros and 2,060 pounds.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these 3 citizens who had come as tourists from England to Dhërmi, a few days ago, cooperated with each other, for the distribution of narcotics in doses, in this coastal area, mainly for other tourists, in the premises of at night and in the various entertainment activities that take place on the coast during the tourist season.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.

Police structures in the Vlora region are established to prevent, detect and attack any illegality, which is not only committed by Albanian citizens, but also by foreign citizens visiting our country, as well as to guarantee order, security and an environment as quiet as possible during the summer tourist season.
