The murder of Vajdin Lamaj and Klodian Saliu / Kulicaj faces Shullazi in court

The former Deputy Director of the State Police, Agron Kuliçaj, has testified at the GJKKO, in the trial being held against Emiljano Shullazi and other defendants for the murder of Vajdin Lamaj and Klodian Saliu.

Kulicaj said that in 2008 he received a letter from the convicted Luftar Reçi informing him about criminal events in Tirana, Durrës and Dibër.

He underlined that he met Reçi, but did not interview him as he did not have the functional task.

" In 2008, Luftar Reçi addressed me with a letter where he talked about some serious events in Dibër, such as arms trafficking and murders in Tirana and Durrës. After this letter, I contacted him in prison together with the two directors Tonin Vocaj and Arjan Kurti. I did not interview him, because I did not have a functional duty. The General Prosecutor of the time, Ina Rama, was informed about the case and the case was transferred to the Prosecutor's Office for Serious Crimes , Kulicaj testified.

On the other hand, when asked by the defendant Emiliano Shullazi if he mentioned his name in the letter regarding the murder of Vajdin Lamaj, Kulicaj replied: "Yes, he did".
