The body of a woman from Kosovo was found dead in her apartment in Switzerland.

Local media reports that the 37-year-old woman was found stabbed several times. The suspected author of the incident is her partner, a 42-year-old citizen from Kosovo.

The 42-year-old man was arrested by the Bern police and handed over to the authorities. The victim was a mother of 4 children, while it is suspected that the incident may have resulted from domestic violence.

The suspected perpetrator appeared in the canton of Berne where he claimed to have injured his partner. The policeman arrived at the scene, where after opening the door of the apartment by force, he found the victim.
