The director of the Institute of International Relations, Bedri Elezi, spoke about the tensions in the north of Kosovo.

In a live connection with "Panorama TV", he stated that the position of Kosovo has given the president of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic a very good position, raising doubts that the plan for the situation created the day before is a 'trap' for Kosovo by the Serbian Secret Services.

"We are the ones who warned that this could happen. It is the second time that the government of Kosovo does not take into account the US statement. The first time was about license plates. And now this hysteria is continuing. We are concerned that these may be projects of the Serbian secret services."

"We have given the president of Serbia a very good international position. It seems as if he is the key to security in the region. We must be very careful in our actions because we are factoring the president of Serbia, so that he can boast in the name of maintaining the security of the Serbs",  he declared.

Elezi said that Albin Kurti's approach has caused Kosovo to receive very harsh blows from international partners.

"In the direction of Pristina, there are some harsh remarks, especially from the USA. Now the German government, which is considered to have a special kind of alliance with the Kurti government, has made harsh statements. Every citizen of Kosovo is very interested in Kosovo closing the issue. "Kurti's policy is a very delinquent policy because he has taken actions that instead of strengthening strong relations, Kosovo received very harsh blows",  said Elezi.
