'Brit Awards 2024', Dua Lipa with three nominations

The nominations for the UK's biggest music awards ceremony, the Brit Awards, have been announced.

For the first time, women dominate all categories, with Raye receiving a record number of nominations — and this year, the panel seems to have made the right choices, writes The Times .

Lewis Capaldi, Little Simz, Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Raye, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift are also among the most famous names nominated.

Meanwhile, despite the fact that throughout the year there have been great music streams such as music videos and an album, the singer Rita Ora has surprisingly been left out of the list of nominations this year.
