The estate of Anne Heche, who died last month after a car accident, has been the subject of numerous legal disputes. James Tupper, who was in a relationship with Heche from 2017 to 2018, filed a probate petition on Thursday challenging the claim of the actress' eldest son, Homer Laffoon, as he sought management of her estate.
He claims that Heche appointed him specifically to manage her affairs.
"My wishes are that all my assets go into the control of James Tupper to be used to raise my children and then to give to the children," he said Heche wrote.
