Here are the views you should never combine with each other

Some food combinations, although common, can have negative effects on digestion and our health in general.

Although many of these are often combined, it is best to avoid the following five combinations in order to better support the functioning of the digestive system.

Two high protein sources

The classic combination of eggs and bacon may be delicious, but both are high in protein, which makes them difficult to digest when eaten together. The body finds it difficult to process them at the same time, so you prefer to consume proteins in different meals.

Cereal with milk and orange juice

Most people eat cereal and juice for breakfast, but the acids in oranges can interfere with the digestion of carbohydrates in cereal. In addition, juice can cause milk to dry up, making it difficult to digest. It is best to drink juice an hour before or after breakfast.

Bananas and milk

This combination is considered "heavy" and slows digestion, resulting in the production of toxins in the body. If you like milk and banana smoothies, prefer to use very ripe bananas and add spices like cardamom or nutmeg for better digestion.

Fruits after the meal

Although fruit is a frequent dessert, it is not the best choice immediately after eating. Fruits contain sugars that are quickly digested, while other foods take longer to digest. This can cause fermentation and stomach discomfort. Eat fruit alone or shortly before a meal.

Cheese and cold drinks

Many like pizza or pasta, cheese and a cold soda, but this combination puts a strain on the digestive system. Cold drinks make it harder for the cheese to break down, often causing bloating and indigestion. It is best to avoid cold drinks when consuming meals with cheese.

Carbohydrates with protein

A common combination is meat with potatoes or rice, but carbohydrates and proteins require different digestive conditions. Carbohydrates are digested faster, while proteins take longer. When consumed together, they can weigh down the stomach and cause bloating and gas. It is best to eat these food categories at different meals or with a sufficient time difference.

Tomatoes with cucumber

The combination of tomato and cucumber is common in many salads, but it has been shown that these two vegetables do not work well together during digestion. Cucumber is alkaline and tomato is acidic, which affects the absorption of nutrients and slows digestion. It is good to eat them alone or with other combinations of vegetables.
